During the annual meeting of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dermatologische Forschung (ADF) from 13-16 March 2019, dermatologists and scientists came together in Munich to discuss advances in the field of dermatological research. Dr. habil. Julia Reichelt and Priv.-Doz. Dr. Ulrich Koller were invited to present scientific data in the course of the ADF meeting. EB gene editing therapeutic approaches, based upon designer nucleases, were particularly well received. Additionally, Dr. Koller presented scientific data in the form of a poster and provided additional explanation on the results of the respective project. In conclusion, the ADF meeting was a successful event, fostering contact between medical doctors and scientists for future collaborations.
